I’ve been a Toronto-based freelance journalist since 2000, writing about lifestyle: travel, interior design, style, business and people who are passionate about what they create for newspaper, magazine and websites.
I previously I worked in publicity and marketing in the book publishing industry for HarperCollins Canada, Douglas & McIntyre, and General Publishing, after attending Ryerson School of Journalism in Toronto, Canada and a few years of taking any job to help pay off my student loan (and fund trips).
I’m the co-author of the Night + Day Guide to Toronto, (2008) part of the Cool Cities Series from Pulse Guides.
I adore books, photography, textiles, spicy food, music and everything to do with the groove of the 1970s.
I wish there was more time for travel and less time needed for work. This site will hopefully make you smile and show you what I find when I’m exploring our planet.
