Afternoon delight: no bicycles – mesi bon kou, Hopetown The Bahamas

I always look for unique signs – and found one in Hopetown on Elbow Cay – with its own unique translation – anyone want to guess the language?

  1. It looks like Creole from Haiti. I wonder if “mesi bon kou” is the same as “merci beaucoup” (french). Sound out both languages and they sound alike. Interesting….

    • It does sound like French – didn’t know there would be Creole spoken in Hopetown….
