Carnivores can continue to celebrate in Toronto – there’s more restos than ever celebrating meat, especially on the popular West Queen West strip.
The Drake continues to expand its offerings and opened Drake BBQ, just two doors down from the main entrance. Now with the hotel’s expansion just announced after seven years on Queen West, the General Store and BBQ will eventually have happy guests residing above.
The BBQ, like its American counterparts, has picked a few things to do well, and make life simple: diners can choose from Carolina pulled pork shoulder or Texas chopped beef brisket sandwich.
And the sides are just as simple – potato chips, pickles, peanuts or cole slaw and for those that need a sweet finish – whoopie pie.
And a rare Toronto offering, Drake BBQ is open until 3am unless the meat runs out.
