I’ve never been one to wear t-shirts sporting slogans or brands. I don’t want to be a billboard.
But a t-shirt is the perfect travel companion and I do like a quirky or unusual t-shirt, especially when it has humour or a literary link.
Out of Print Clothing celebrates the written word, especially those books that are from the past but not forgotten.
Working closely with artists and publishers, the company has carefully chosen titles that express a variety of sentiments, and reworked the titles into a comfortable soft t-shirt, like a gently read book.
Available for men in sizes small to XX large and for women in small to extra large, the t-shirts celebrate the 20th century’s great writers including Aldous Huxley, Kurt Vonnegut Jr., George Orwell, Ayn Rand, William S. Burroughs and Jack Kerouac. And for every t-shirt sold, a book is donated for Books for Africa, to keep the written word available, despite the digital age.
